Editorial policy
We want readers to know what a piece is based on, what it can reasonably say and how to flag a problem. Everyday Music Review aims for clear, careful writing about music and listening.
Accuracy and context
We check factual details against suitable sources and take care with names, dates, musical terms and historical context. We avoid presenting opinion as fact. If a topic has more than one reasonable interpretation, we say so rather than smoothing away the difference.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions remain separate from commercial arrangements. Any paid, gifted or otherwise partner-supported material is identified plainly so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. Partner placements are labelled wherever they appear.
Corrections and illustrations
If you spot an error, contact us with the article and detail in question. We review correction requests and make an appropriate change with a clear note when needed. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; we identify them where they appear and do not use them as evidence for factual claims.
